How Does Lightpipe® Work?
Skyshade has invented an award-winning product titled Lightpipe® with which the sunlight or natural light is harvested during day time by patented sunlight collectors and transmits to targeted internal areas of the building or industrial structure with the use of pipe. The active/passive sunlight collectors collect sunlight throughout the day in all days of the year.
The lightpipe daylighting system has a reflective system connected to sunlight collector which help transmit the natural light or sunlight to the longer distances. At the end of the light pipe, a light diffuser is connected through which the natural light or sunlight diffuses the sunlight into the interior spaces.
Lightpipe® For Commercial Buildings
Most of the businesses are operated during the day with internal electrical lighting thereby inflating the monthly energy bills. Lightpipe from Skyshade is the alternative solution to replace the electrical lighting with the natural daylighting giving the interior with the same lux level and bring the savings of the energy levels combined with contributing towards reduced carbon emissions.
